Douglas Alford brings more than a decade of tax and financial planning experience to his role as Tax Director of BridgePort Tax & Business Services. Douglas specializes in comprehensive tax strategy, estate and trust planning, and integrated financial consulting for individuals, business owners, and fiduciaries. His approach blends technical expertise with a deep understanding of each client’s personal and financial goals.
Before joining BridgePort, Douglas served as tax director and financial planner for several firms, where he managed multimillion-dollar client books, oversaw cross-functional tax teams, and guided clients through complex tax and estate planning decisions. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, Certified Tax Planner, and Enrolled Agent. Douglas also holds a Master of Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration from Malone University.

A dedicated professional with more than 15 years of combined experience in accounting and administrative support, Lorie Bond joined BridgePort Tax & Business Services in 2024. As a member of the tax team, she handles tax processing and oversees all aspects of accounts receivable, including closing out month-end books. Known for her ability to prioritize, Lorie is highly organized, detail-oriented, and also provides support to the BridgePort Financial Solutions team.
Outside the office, Lorie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, going for walks, visiting the beach, and traveling.
